After taking 2 1/2 years off during the pandemic, in May 2023, we saw AWEsome Return. Our 2023 event saw changes (for example a reservation system that stopped us from providing a park day) but was still an amazing event that had rave reviews.
Our event kicked off with a Welcome Night at Howard Johnson Anaheim’s House of the Retro Future Suite (HoJo was a sponsor of our first three events).
We followed with two days of intense sessions, bonding, hot seats, and more.
Our attendees were also treated to a night at Pirates Dinner Adventure one evening.
For those who stayed an extra day and chose to participate, we had a farewell event where the LEGO store in Downtown Disney brought us in before opening so we could design and leave with our own personal MiniFigs.
The 2023 event focused on creating revenue streams, productivity, and brand partnerships, as well as an intimate hot seat session.
